YOUTH HOCKEY CAMP

Enthusiastic, caring counselors are on hand to make sure your camper has an awesome and safe time.
KIDS 6-12 (Mon-Fri 9:30am to 12:30pm)
Under the direction of Youth Hockey Director Jason Davis, the summer hockey camps will be taught by Skatetown’s professional staff and will focus on a variety of disciplines each day. The one-week camp will provide concentrated instruction on specific skills and techniques on ice such as:
- Skating "your foundation"
- Balance & proper form
- Shooting & passing
- Stick handling
- Flow & break-out skills
- Crossovers & tight turns
- Fun Friday scrimmage
- Stride development
- Team strategy

Two hours of instruction on private ice each day 10:00am - Noon
- TWO GROUPS this summer:
- Entry Level - must have skill equivalent to Little Sharks, Hockey 1 or above
- Elite Level - must have skill equivalent to youth house league and/or travel hockey

POWER SKATING CLINIC

PROGRAM OVERVIEW: There is no question that the most important skill to the game of hockey is skating. For that reason, Battle Born Hockey School is proud to introduce the Battle Born Power Skating School. This camp offers an extensive, two-day regimen focusing exclusively on balance, edge work, speed, power, and agility for players at all skill levels.

SHOOTERS & SCORERS CLINIC

PROGRAM OVERVIEW: Calling all forwards and defensemen! Refine your scoring touch and turn opportunities into goals. This clinic is designed to break down and enhance your technique for various shots including wrist shots, slap shots, snap shots, back hand shots and one-timers.

Battle Born Hockey School is based in Reno. Their coaches are members of the Ice Raiders Hockey Club is a full-contact, travel men’s Senior A hockey club that plays teams based out of Nevada, California, Texas, Montana, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Colorado.
