Under the direction of Youth Hockey Director Jason Davis, the summer hockey camps will be taught by Skatetown’s professional staff and will focus on a variety of disciplines each day. The one-week camp will provide concentrated instruction on specific skills and techniques on ice such as
Skating "your foundation", Balance & proper form, Shooting & passing, Stick handling, Flow & break-out skills, Crossovers & tight turns, Fun Friday scrimmage, Stride development, Team strategy.

Hockey 3 & above, ages 6 - 13. $150 full week, $40 daily drop-in
PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of the Youth Hockey Director Jason Davis, the power skating and shooting clinic will be taught by Skatetown’s professional staff. (1) Improve speed, endurance and agility, (2) learn to skate strong, fast and controlled, (3) work on tight turns, stops and quick starts and (4) refine your shooting skills. Full gear required.

BATTLE BORN D-CORE CLINIC for Defensemen & Forwards
AUGUST 18, 2024 - ONE DAY ONLY
Ages 8+ to Adult, $150 (+ $15 service fee)
3 HOURS On-Ice: Immerse yourself in a dynamic on-ice training program designed to enhance your defensive game, including, backwards skating, transitions, odd man rushes, net front coverage, breakouts and more. Our experienced coaches will guide you through drills and techniques to take your skating to the next level.
1 HOUR Off-Ice includes Video Tutorial Session: Receive personalized insights with a video tutorial session concentrating on your technique walking the blue line and firing a shot. Fine-tune your skating skills with expert guidance.
Forwards, we want you too! Understanding a defenseman's mindset is key to outmaneuvering them. This camp will provide you with the knowledge to anticipate and counter defensive plays effectively.

Battle Born Hockey School is based in Reno. Their coaches are members of the Ice Raiders Hockey Club is a full-contact, travel men’s Senior A hockey club that plays teams based out of Nevada, California, Texas, Montana, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Colorado.
